High-80s, I guess this passes as a heat wave these days. But damn if it doesn’t feel hotter than 105 in Oregon. Tried a couple hours yesterday and came back covered in a thick layer of gnarly salt, feeling every bit of the 89. But it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. Right? Speaking of heat, just came to the conclusion that after skipping Interbike last year I need to go this year. Can you tell I’m excited?

Yeah, this was in PDX, back in June, already. Not sure what happened to July. Did manage a little Mountain West tour - Montana, Idaho, Oregon - that had some high points but left me happy to get home. The shot was for a new bike co. that’s rolling out here in the next little bit, amazing stuff that I think brings some clean ideas and execution to the game. 4:30 wake up calls the last couple days, it’s like jetlag without getting on a plane. Is that better or worse?
