Squeeze

SquintKaterina Nash feeling the effects from Portland mud. Normally blinking shots are deleted right away but since this tells the story of the day, why not keep it. I wasn’t too into the shooting at the USGP, can’t quite say why, but I just wasn’t feeling it and without my full lighting set up I couldn’t get motivated to go all out. Still got some half decent stuff but not what it could have been. Had some great meetings while I was out there, hung out with my Pacific Northwest friends, and generally had a great time. Now I’m home and getting ready to head to Esoana on Monday. For those keeping count this will be my 3rd trip to Spain since June. Who could have seen that coming?

Tempting

CollectionTen days after getting my left knee scoped I’m already turning the pedals again. Compared to my right knee scope in ‘05 this one has been a breeze to come back from, zero pain and swelling has been minimal. So naturally I’ve had visions of racing this coming weekend, but that, of course, would be the stupidest thing ever so I’m not going to. Work-wise it’s been a nice little break though there’s been a good amount of catching up to do. Now it’s looking into the new year and trying to balance out what promises to be a hectic first 8 weeks of 2009.
