Second in the series. Couple people have asked how this was shot: Kodak EPP 100 rated at 50, cross processed and pushed a stop and a half. Shot with GX680 & 100/4 lens. If memory serves it was shot 1/60th @ 16. I get to go to Vegas tomorrow for Interbike, lucky me. I’m bringing the Reign as we’re heading to Moab for three days of riding right after. That’ll be cool, but traveling with a long travel bike is not. Those things are freakin heavy. Also, leaving all the digi at home and shooting Vegas Cross with a variety of hoopty film cameras.

Headed out two fridays ago to do some local shooting, just for fun, and came across this unloved hoops court in Chelsea, VT. Just looked pretty cool. And may as well practice with the film, as it looks like I’m going to be doing a full-on film shoot for real in a couple weeks. Imagine. Did almost 5 hrs up at Kingdom Trails on Saturday, it was epic.

Raced SuckerBrook on these babies, just the perfect set-up for a fast dry course with some super rough woodsy sections. Racwe went well considering it was the first all out effort of the year. I think the whole YouTube phenom is a bit of a flyer (who wants to see erveryone’s stupid videos, anyway?) but then I see stuff like this posted and I am encouraged. Fierce.

Spent the past couple nights gluing tubulars, so it must be almost ‘cross season. First race of the year this Sunday down @ Sucker Brook. It’s really early to race aand I won’t race again until NE Worlds, but I figured since it’s close and I have the itch, why not. Got some work coming my way, mostly local I think. It’s funny, you find some companies scrambling to shoot their Spring/Summer 08 stuff and it’s looking less and less like summer around here by the day. But it always looks like summer in Hawaii, right?

You wait and you wait and you wait, and then the sunset is kinda lame. So you just gotta make the best of it. Shotting Dave S has been a hoot, totally different scene than what I have been doing. Just Dave and me, getting up and down the hill figuring where to get “the” shot. This may or may not be it, but close enough. BTW, check out the new site, ArktikDesign thanks.
